The Chocolate Hills is found in Bohol Philippines.I have personally visited the place and like any first time visitor I was awed by what I saw. The little and big hills that stand like chocolates amidst the green grasses. The term "chocolate hills" was coined because the hills turns chocolate brown during the dry season. During my visit to Bohol, I saw hundreds of Chocolate like hills, but according to the inhabitants of Bohol, there are at least 1268 hills ranging in shape, sizes and height. The hills can reach as high as 50 meters.
The Chocolate Hills is famous all over the world but this not what Bohol has to offer in terms of tourists attractions. Bohol has beautiful beaches and landmark churches which I will show to you in my other post. The photos of the Chocolate Hills as seen above are not owned by me.
I saw them online and therefore belong to someone else.
I believe the photos to be of public domain.Labels: Chocolate Hills, Land, Philippines
